Dear Fresno County medical marijuana supporter,

Local patients and activists are pressuring the Fresno County board ofsupervisors to follow California's medical marijuana laws –specifically, by implementing the statewide medical marijuana ID cardprogram. In order to make that happen, we need your help!

Please help us to gain support in Fresno County by attending nextweek's board of supervisors meeting to speak out in favor of local implementation of the medical marijuana ID card program.

When: Tuesday, December 18 – 2:30 p.m. (public comments period at end of meeting)

If you would like guidance on how to address the board, feel free toattend Monday evening's prep-meeting at the Fig Garden library in Fresno.

Once the medical marijuana ID card program is made available topatients and caregivers in Fresno County, those who choose to obtain cards will gain further protection from unnecessary arrest or seizure of property by state and local government.

Don't you think it's about time that Fresno County's leaders acknowledge California's long-standing medical marijuana laws? If so, please take attend next week's board meeting so that we can make patient protection in Fresno a reality.
