Canadian Luke is communicating with you now. He wonders if you might know of any websites or indiviuals I might be able to contact in Hawaii about medical marijuana.
I'm hoping you might be able to put me in touch with some people involved in the medical marijuana community in Hawaii. I am a Canadian who has had permission from Health Canada to smoke marijuana for a medical reason since 2000. I suffer from severe epilepsy and have tried six pharmaceutical products and brain surgery. I am on a disability pension. Marijuana is not a cure. But I do have fewer seizures and my neurologist agrees and was among the first in Canada to prescribe it (5 grams/day).
I am 40-years old and with my wife and two children I hope to visit Hawaii for two weeks during the month of March. My well-travelled brother has offered us airline points. I would love to get in touch with some people involved with this issue in Hawaii (not necessarily the representatives of official organizations). If anybody required it, I could provide copies of pages of medical documents and my medical marijuana ID card from the Canadian government.
If this is a pain-in-the-neck, just let me know.
