Patients first

I have been a medical cannabis patient for less than a year and have already heard so many inspiring stories. So here is mine:

I like to write short stories but would like to try my pen at reporting especially for a cause as great as this. I have a pan-hypo petuitary tumor that has all but gone away through two surguries (to the brain), extensive radiation "therapy" and a gamma-knife procedure. All of this was done before I was even 16, and all at the orders of "professional" doctors and my parents wanting to love me to death.

Then in the summer of 2003 while attending summer school, my guts started to hurt terribly. The inflamed lower caecum (intestinal tract near the apendix) came out with a flick of the scalpel. I woke up restrained on a gurney, seeing a massive bandage on my right torso. I wanted to rip the heart out of the bastards who took my petuitary and now a section of my lower bowel from me. But as it frequently does, anger turned into saddness and despair. I felt incomplete and violated during my history of sickness.

Whoah... maybe that is too much too soon. I eventually heard that medical cannabis could calm the intestines and inhibit tumor growth. I got my doctors order against my parents wishes, and began the healing.

After what I have gone through, I have found a calling in making sure that others can get the medicine they need to live. I hope to get to know all of you here and in person.
