I know all the co-ops got closed down in July, but did all medical users move? That would be crazy. We really need to work on this area. People are being left out in the cold, per se.
We need to get the patients in the area a way to reach caregivers. We are here, and we need help. Suggestions anyone?
Try organizing the patients...........
Left out in the cold per se is correct. At least you HAD dispensaries in your County!!!!
Santa Clara County doesn't want them at all and have not been receptive in any way in any of the cities in the County to opening one.
So, since we formed the SVCPU (formerly known as Area 420), approximately four years ago, it became clear that MOBILE dispensaries were the only solution to serving the patients in this County.
There are about a half dozen folks listed on the CANORML site for Santa Clara County and they are MOBILE. Many of the dispensaries in neighboring Counties, offer delivery services as well for a nominal fee.
That is the best options I have for you folks down there. Word of mouth and interaction with other patients creates a dialogue wherein, each individuals input may produce a welth of knowledge about who knows who and who knows what.
ORGANIZE A PATIENTS UNION IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
