Greetings Compassionate Coalition,
Please read below for whats going on in the medical marijuana acitivist community.
Top Story:
**Dustin Costa (aka DC Greenhouse) has court Wednesday, November 8th at 9a.m. and Tuesday, November 14th at 9:00a.m. at Courtroom 2 of the Fresno Federal Court, located at 2500 Tulare St.
Dustin Costa, president of the Merced Patients Group, was originally raided and arrested in 2004 by the Merced Sheriff Department and prosecuted on state charges. After a year and a half of court proceedings, in 2005 the District Attorney turned his case over to the feds.
Please come and show your support for DC Greenhouse and oppose the federal government’s persecution of patients and providers! DC Greenhouse is very sick and deserves to be returned to his family and friends. It is especially important to show strong support for the first defendant facing a federal trial since 2003. Also, please be aware that Fresno juries are pretty conservative so supporters should be dressed and groomed to appeal to those types of people. Thank you for your time. http://www.compassionatecoalition.org/node/4000
