Dear Monterey County Medical Marijuana Supporter-

I have recently heard from the Monterey County Department of Health that they are ready to implement the statewide medical marijuana ID card program, however are holding off pending YOUR input.

Due to little or no interest in the program, the county has made implementation of the ID program an extremely low priority.

Please take a few minutes today to contact the Health Department and let them know that there are medical cannabis patients in Monterey County who are interested in this program.

Remember, even if you are not personally planning on getting an ID card--implementation of the program in Monterey County would be a victory for all local patients.

Please call or email Monterey County Health Director, Len Foster, today. Ask that they make the medical marijuana ID program one of the department's top priorities.

San Luis Obispo, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties all have registry programs for medical marijuana patients. There is no legitimate reason for Monterey County to be so far behind our neighboring communities.
