Preping the Bud

On a cookie sheet place a equally sized piece of parchment paper (a piece of brown paper bag will do if you're running a tight ship or your grocer doesn't carry such baking supplies).  Spread your bud out on the sheet of paper, place in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until all the green is cooked out.   The bud will turn a golden brown and be totally dehydrated and very brittle.  Take the cookie sheet out of the oven, let it cool then grind the baked bud up into it's smallest parts (a pestle and mortar will do but, a mini processor is best). Make sure to tap any remaining powder off the paper into the baked ground bud. Store in a tightly covered container

You now have the active ingredient to make anything you like a medical marijuana recipe.  Soup to nuts, oatmeal to ice cream, mix the ground baked bud into your favorite cookie, brownie or grandma's turkey stuffing recipe or put some in your pasta sauce. You can even put your grind in jell capsules from the health food store allowing you to take your medicine like any other pill/capsule.

Depending on the potency of your bud, start out with 1/4 to 1/2 measuring teaspoon of ground bud per dose (especially until you know how to use it because over dose can be panic attack spooky). It is best taken in the morning on an empty stomach (it takes longer to work if there is prior food in your stomach).  Give it a half hour to an hour to begin to take affect.  Muscle spasms stop, nausea miraculously turns to appetite and sometimes even sorrow somehow gets overshadowed by pleasantries you weren’t aware of before.

canna butter

I myself prefer making canna butter,and it taste so good and my cookies are awesome. If you make the butter right you can bake,cook and spread it on things.I let my butter crock for 24 hours and then i start the straining process. The butter seems to be more helpfull then smoking, it realy helps with my muscle spasm and my joints. How do you go about making canna butter?
Alternatives to smoking are necessary for those of us not willing to compromise our lung function any more than as is.

I save my leaves in a gallon storage bag and freeze them.I then buy 5 or 10 pounds of butter, when all my bud is ready to harvest i will trim it up and all the trim gets added to the leaves.Then you need to have a crock pot, add 1 gallon bag of leaves,5 LB.butter,1/4 of bud or keef to the crock pot and cover with water and cook on low heat for 24 hours. (You will need a good size pot to strain it in and let it set up.)Put on rubber gloves and stain the canna butter through a white clean pillow case into a bowl you can put in the refrigerater.The next day you need to wash the butter,cook the butter on low heat with 2 cups of water for 1 hour and strain again to get out impurities.(repeat this prosses one more time or untill butter is clean).Be safe and peaceout,dana
