Howdy all,

I'm writing from Sacramento but used to live in Oakland a hop skip and a jump from Oaksterdam. Boy do I have questions. I've been reading the site for a few months and have found it very informitive. I've been using MJ for years to treat my migraines, menstrual problems, and insomnia. Reciently got a perscription last year.

However, my dr was Hany Assad who is the subject of much discussion here. I first learned about his case from a dispensiary here in Sacramento. Since then I've been looking for a new dr to obtain my perscription from. I was refered to a couple but when I called I was told I would have to have a note from a dr saying I suffered from migraines.

I was diagnosed as a child and no longer have the records. Also I have no health insurance so going to a dr to get said note is out of the question for me. I only work part time right now $150+ is way too much money to go somewhere to try to get my perscription only to be turned down. I don't know what to do. I don't really want to go back to Dr Assad but it looks like I might have to at this rate. Any advice would be appreciated I've been trying to do my own research without much luck and the past few months without my meds have been really unpleasent let me tell you. The migraines are really kicking in due to allergies.

I can't believe 84 people have read this and nobody has offered any advice for me and it's been kicked to the end of the forum to ad insult to injury. So much for compassion I guess. Can anybody tell me where I can get some answers?
