Tuesday, July 31, at 5:30pm: Prevent Berkeley Raids: Rally at City Hall

This week, law enforcement seized Berkeley Patients Group's assets. A raid of Berkeley Patients Group and potentially other dispensaries in the area is imminently possible.

Berkeley City Council must protect patients and providers! We are calling on the city council to adopt a Sanctuary Resolution to ensure that if dispensaries in Berkeley are raided the city will protect patients and providers. Berkeley City Council is holding a hearing this evening at 6:30pm. There will be a rally at Berkeley City Hall prior to the hearing on the front steps of Old City Hall at 5:30pm.

Access in Berkeley is being threatened and we must act now! Please come out to the rally and call on City Council to protect patients and providers.

When: Today, Tuesday, July 31 at 5:30pm
Where: Front steps of Old City Hall at 2134 Martin Luther King in Berkeley (Just 3 blocks Northwest of Downtown Berkeley Bart stop)
What to bring: Medical cannabis signs, camera, and your friends and supporters
Why: Because We Must Defend Safe Access in Berkeley and the Bay Area!
