So, I recently was perscribed medical marijuana, and was going to go through Doctor's Orders for all of my needs. I had recently lost my state ID, but had ordered a new one, and had absolutely every possible form of identification, INCLUDING the interim driver's license, birth certificate, school ID with picture, ATM card with picture, Kaiser medical card, social security card, absolutely everything, even the provisional license they give you when you order a new state ID. It was even enough to get seen by the doctor who perscribed me in the first place. But it wasn't enough for Doctor's Orders. They required that I submit a physical plastic state ID card, no other identification would possbile do. This would be fine, if I hadn't ordered the new card so recently, and didnt have so many god damned other forms of identification on me. It takes SIXTY DAYS for the new state ID to arrive, SIXTY DAYS. Never mind that I was walking in holding my prescription in my hands, and more than one recent valid photo ID, AND my social security card, they would accept absolutely no identification (Not even the interim temporary thing the DMV gives you, which even the police accept, I might add) would do. So, I'm rather angry to say the least, that I would have all of this identification, and yet still be forced to wait SIXTY DAYS, when even the doctor who prescribed me took the interim driver's license along with a photo ID. I mean jesus, SIXTY DAYS? And I had everything, every other possible ID you could possibly ask for and they wouldn't take any of it. So, since they wouldn't listen, I'm posting here, and seeing if anyone else in sacramento will take me sooner than sixty days from now, given that I have every other conceivable form of ID.
