What are the guidelines?

How does someone get connected to a patient who can be a provider?
I've saw people posting craigslist ads too. Often in the personals or community sections.
But if there is an organization that connects patients with providers. That would be a great service, and I would like to know more.
I will have more room in my garden in May. I am a patient and I have my own 15 plants. But my wife could potentially be a provider for someone, and I believe I may be able to also? What is the guidelines on that? Does anyone know?

Thanks for being patient with all of my questions. I am very serious about wanting to help a patient out. Cuz I know how it is to go without medicine. Sucks!
