We believe that the Repeal Cannabis Prohibition Act of 2012 will benefit medical marijuana patients, and will expand the medical use of marijuana in positive ways.

Harassment Will Decline: 15 years after the passage of Prop 215, patients still face harassment and even felonies for using and providing medical marijuana. With all marijuana legal, over-zealous police officers will no longer have cause to harass patients. After decades, patients will be taken off the “front lines” of the drug war.

Access Will Improve: Options for obtaining marijuana will increase, and access will improve over time. Under the Act governments cannot ban access to or use of marijuana.

Medical Research Will Expand: For the first time in nearly 70 years, doctors will be able to legally possess and study benefits of medical-grade marijuana.

Prices Will Decrease: Patients struggling to afford their medicine will benefit, as the cost of marijuana will decrease.

Preventative Medicine: Scientific studies show that marijuana has benefits as a preventative medicine, so it is useful even for people who do not suffer from an illness currently.

Occasional Medicine: People who need the medical benefits of marijuana for an occasional ache or minor injury will not have to obtain a physician recommendation.

Quality and Purity May Improve: Oversight by the California Department of Public Health should lead to improved quality control, decreased pesticide use, and a more transparent distribution system.

Patients Rights Will Be Protected: Our rights under Prop 215 (11362.5) and SB 420 (11362.7) are reaffirmed in the Act, and will not be harmed or restricted in any way.

Nearly 15 years after the passage of Prop 215 patients still face harassment, discrimination, illegal bans, misinformation campaigns, and a lack of compassion from our elected officials. It's time to take another step forward, and take patients out of the crossfire.

The most compassionate thing we can do is to allow all adults to take advantage of the medical benefits of marijuana.

ASA indicates that sensible

ASA indicates that sensible regulations reduce crime and complaints. We must not let the DOJ roll back all the progress we have made in the last fifteen years. Use our sample email or write your own message to President Obama right now.-Texas Lending
